United Way of Greater McHenry County mobilizes the caring power of community so that all can thrive. Thanks to our generous donors we were able to grant over $800,000 to our partner agencies to keep vital resources locally available, we were able to provide over 2,500 McHenry County kids with a free book in the mail every month, we were able to provide on average 900 local residents a month who were experiencing transportation challenges with free deliveries from food pantries and we were able to keep the 211 resource hotline free and available to all residents 24 hours a day!.png)
