2007-08 Campaign

Senator Pamela J. Althoff is serving as our 2007-08 General Campaign Chairperson for the second year in a row. At our campaign kickoff in September of 2007, Senator Althoff announced this year's campaign goals of raising $980,000 within McHenry County and $820,000 from sources based outside the county, for a campaign total of $1.8 million.

As of January 30th, 2008, the local campaign total reached $853,860 which is 87% of our $965,000 goal. Our overall campaign total is $1,187,557. This is exactly where we were at last year. Currently we are at 66% of our goal. It will be quite a year if we can reach and exceed our goal once again!

Congratulations to the Senator and her team of campaign volunteers, and thank you to all of our volunteers and donors for your generosity.

United Way raises money to help fund 23 local human service agencies including Big Brothers Big Sisters, Family Service, Pioneer Center & Turning Point.
