As of January 25, 2011, United Way has introduced a new award reserved for companies who reach an outstanding level of success by raising $100,000 or more during their United Way campaign.
With a 118% increase in employee giving, a 104.5% increase in employee participations, and combined employee contributions of $110,648 for an overall increase of 96.5%, Affinia Under Vehicle was presented with the 2010 Landmark Award. Their level of accomplishment has never been reached in the 32 year history of United Way of Greater McHenry County.
